At Guavus, we are now at a much higher team strength than what we were 5 months back.. when I posted the hiring requirements for Guavus. But, we still need more people. Yes! we are hiring. Guavus Networks is growing and is also getting more customers. This means that we now need a bigger team. We are looking for sharp C++ engineers for developement work.

Guavus is a venture-backed network analytics startup based in Delhi (with offices in Chandigarh & Ahmedabad). Guavus is about three years old, but our core technology comes from a multi-year PhD research program that was incubated at Sprint, Intel Research and Boston University. We have recently closed our Series A ($7M) from two Bay Area VCs.

At Guavus, we are building a streaming analytics platform which enables communications service providers to drive and monetize value by harnessing the data they carry for a number of applications in network intelligence and business intelligence. All end to end engineering is based in India. We continue to get a lot of customer pull from tier-1 customers around the globe (indeed, some have even paid us upfront to do a trial!) – a fact that we’re particularly proud of, given the economic conditions.

The engineering & architectural challenges here are multifold -- spanning systems (a scalable, distributed platform that can sustain terabyte data rates, exploiting map-reduce on aws-ec2), streaming databases (query and store vs store and query paradigm), and data mining (yup, we have phds & mathematicians on staff).
